CONCEPT

The charm of the old stock, respect for minimalism aesthetics, and a touch of neo-modernism — this was the концепtion we adhered to when stylizing the restaurant in the very heart of Saint Petersburg, at the intersection of Liteyny Avenue and Nevsky Prospect. The spirit of new and old times, futuristic accents transform the «Na Parah» establishment into an authentic place with its own character.

Atmosphere and Lighting

As guests enter the restaurant, they find themselves in a relaxing and intimate environment. The bright, semi-dark hall, warm diffused light from wall sconces, and spot lighting almost embedded in the ceiling create a sense of coziness and comfort. The space seems to envelop and invite visitors to forget about time within its walls.

Zoning

The gastronomic heart of the main hall is formed by the open kitchen with a serving zone. It was separated from the customers with a striking platform featuring a glossy steel texture and contour lighting along its base. Glass partitions with matte coating serve as the finishing touch — the kitchen area resembles a weightless laboratory of taste from the neo-modern era.

The second hall, shrouded in semi-darkness, fosters a more intimate setting, where voices soften and conversations become more delicate and frank. Its main feature is the bar area with a monolithic island table. Take a closer look at its surface: the fine veins of the stone and a unique pattern illuminated by internal crystalline light are truly mesmerizing. This is a «stage» for avant-garde cocktails, a «dais» for trendy coffee and tea varieties — a focal point for those who enjoy being in the spotlight.

Seating

The remaining seating areas in the restaurant are familiar to most visitors. Seating is divided into two main types: for large and small groups.

Cozy two-person tables are scattered around the perimeter of the hall in semi-darkness. Along some walls, there are sofa groups. Behind them, at elongated oval tables, groups of six can comfortably gather. Circular and rectangular tables with softened corners are designed for four guests.

Particularly attractive are the round tables along the windows. From any point in the space, they follow the principle of central symmetry and create a linear composition.

There are many interaction scenarios with each zone: working privately with a laptop, organizing a book club meeting over tea, gathering with friends, meeting with a partner, or establishing a tradition of Sunday family lunches outside the home.

Details and Decor

The interior and atmosphere of the restaurant would not be complete without harmonious connecting accents.

The most unusual of these are the arched openings between the halls. The glossy steel—also used for the kitchen zone—and flexible LED lighting do not create an impression of coldness here.

This is balanced by a neutral palette of materials and textures. The wood and microvelour make the interior more tactile, decorative plaster and tiles emphasize its cohesion, and the stone of the countertops with marble patterns reveals the strength of modern organic design.

Even the lighting fixtures are carefully selected to resonate in harmony with the space. Streamlined and textured, with matte glass and metal finishes, they echo the contours of the furniture and the linearity of the halls. Finishing touches like wall panels and plant decor add elegance and coziness to the interior.

«Na Parah» is not only about food but also about aesthetics and healthy taste. We reimagined this space with decor inspired by the old stock.
